Hi, I'm Michael! 

Creativity and making art has always been an important part of my life. Starting with videography and digital art at a young age, I quickly discovered the importance of creative thinking, practice, and patience. The art teachers I had always maintained a welcoming, productive, and easy-going space which I hope to pass on to other students in the future.

My appreciation for the arts solidified during my time at Glenbrook South High School, particularly in the ceramics and painting studios. I attended Oakton Community College for 3 years to continue exploring and developing my artistic skills.

Currently, I attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I focus on developing my teaching style and how teaching and artistic practice go hand in hand.
